In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, the Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument (FMB) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) have partnered together for the first-ever Missouri Breaks Triathlon. The event will take place within the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument and along the Wild and Scenic Missouri River.
The event is on July 7 and starts at 8 AM with a 20-mile canoe/kayak, a 3.4-mile run, and finishes with a 20-mile bike.
Registration is free, but donations are strongly encouraged. All donations will be made to the Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument and our work in protecting and preserving the Breaks.
Pre-Race Day Check-In
It is required that all participants attend the pre-race day check-in in Fort Benton on July 6 between 12 PM and 8 PM. Athletes will need to have their boats inspected, sign waivers, and receive registration packets.
